अंतरिक्ष विज्ञान, स्पेस के क्षेत्रों में इसरो द्वारा अनुसंधान प्रस्तावों का समर्थन किया जाता है प्रौद्योगिकी और अंतरिक्ष अनुप्रयोग जो इसरो के लिए प्रासंगिक हैं।

A. "Research Areas in Space-2025 "-A document of Research Areas for soliciting proposals from STCs, STIC & RAC-S.

1. "Research Areas in Space" is a comprehensive document highlighting ISRO's major programmes, current and upcoming R&D requirements of ISRO. This document will exclusively cater to the advanced research requirements of ISRO wherein Space Technology Cells (STCs), Space Technology Incubation Centre (STIC) and Regional Academic Centre for Space (RAC-S) established at various IITs/NITs and premier institutes across the country can select and generate R&D proposals. The faculty of these institutes are encouraged to submit their project proposals in these diverse research areas.
2. The concerned ISRO/DOS centre interested in the research topic is given in brackets after the areas/sub areas/problems.
3. The faculty of these STCs, RAC-S and S-TICs may submit the proposals to the convener of their respective STCs/ RAC-S/ S-TICs. However, the proposals may be submitted by the faculty of STC to the respective convenors of STC Cells only. Further proposals from the RAC-S/STIC and associated colleges shall be submitted to RAC-S/STIC-s based on the call for proposals by the respective cells. Further, the submitted proposals will be subjected to critical evaluation by ISRO/DOS Centres. The proposal will be evaluated on the basis of novelty, methodology, approach, deliverables, experience of the PI in the subject area, duration of the project, budget etc.
4. The Projects having envisaged outcome as a product or process of business/commercial potential shall be submitted through S-TICs.
5. The evaluation reports of the proposals received from the ISRO/DOS centres will be further reviewed by the Joint Policy Committee (JPC) of STC, Joint Management Committee (JMC) of STIC and Joint Policy Management Council (JPMC) of RAC-S before its recommendation for funding support.
6. The age limit for the Principal Investigator is below 65 years (sixty-five) including the project period.
7. One hard copy and a soft copy of the proposal shall be submitted to the respective STCs/STIC/ RAC-S.
8. Conveners of STC/STIC/RAC-S shall submit a hard copy and a soft copy of the proposal to the respective ISRO/DOS centre.

3. प्रिंसिपल अन्वेषक उस क्षेत्र में एक डोमेन विशेषज्ञ होगा जिसके लिए प्रस्ताव के अंतर्गत आता है और एक पूर्णकालिक कर्मचारी / संकाय होना चाहिए संस्थान आवेदन को अग्रेषित करता है। सह-निवेशक भी हो सकता है परियोजना पर काम करने वाले एक ही / अलग संस्था से। लेकिन किसी परियोजना के संतोषजनक समापन की जिम्मेदारी होगी प्रधान अन्वेषक और संस्था शामिल है।
4. प्रस्ताव ऑनलाइन जमा किया जाएगा।
5. “RESPOND BASKET 2024” के तहत प्रस्तावों को जमा करने की अंतिम तारीख है 14^th Feb 2025.
6. प्रस्तुत प्रस्ताव द्वारा महत्वपूर्ण मूल्यांकन के अधीन किया जाएगा ISRO/DOS केंद्र विशेषज्ञ। प्रस्ताव को नवीनता के आधार पर मूल्यांकन किया जाएगा, पद्धति, दृष्टिकोण, विषय क्षेत्र में पीआई का अनुभव, परियोजना की अवधि, बजट आदि
