SpIN is a one-of-its-kind public-private collaboration for start-ups and SMEs in the space industry. This novel partnership is a significant step forward in providing further stimulus to India’s recent space reform policies and will work towards identifying and unleashing the market potential of the most promising space tech innovators and entrepreneurs in India. Secretary, DOS / Chairman, ISRO launched the platform on 6th December, 2022 at ISRO Head Quarters.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Social Alpha signed an MoU to launch SpaceTech Innovation Network (SpIN) on 6th December, 2022, which is an India's first dedicated platform for innovation curation and venture development for the burgeoning space entrepreneurial ecosystem

Workshop on Space Technology organized part of SpIN launch event at ISRO Head Quarters, Bangalore. Senior Scientists from different ISRO centres presented the opportunities & business potential for space start-ups in space tech domain. More than 150 space start-ups, members from ISPA, SIA, DPIIT and Senior officials from ISRO centres were participated in the programme. Part of launch programme, technical workshop on various topics were organized to create the awareness among participants on opportunities for start-ups in space domain.

Roadshows was organised at IIT-M on SpaceTech Innovation Platform with the participation of Space start-ups and student entrepreneurs. Programme was organised at IIT-M on 17th January, 2023 and more than 150 participants participated in the event.

Workshop on Emerging Geospatioal Technology Innovation cum road show was organised at NRSC, Hyderabad on 1st February, 2023 and Director, NRSC inaugurated the event. Around 120 participants from space start-ups, teleghana govt. bodies, students, incubators, investors, etc., participated in the event.
