YUva VIjyani KAryakram Young Scientists Programme YUVIKA – 2022 got concluded with a valedictory function held at Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), Sriharikota on May 28, 2022. On this occasion, Sri S Somanath, Chairman, ISRO / Secretary, Department of Space interacted with students and awarded the Certificates to 153 students who came from 36 States or Union Territories of the Country. Chairman, ISRO advised these young scientists to develop reading habits and develop a passion for contributing to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) domain. He urged them to become ambassadors of ISRO to promote the space activities in their schools and region.

YUVIKA programme was conducted during May 16-28, 2022 at five ISRO Centres viz. VSSC - Thiruvananthapuram, URSC -Bengaluru, SAC -Ahmedabad, NRSC -Hyderabad and NE-SAC- Shillong. Finally, students visited SDSC-SHAR for witnessing the sounding rocket launch, visiting the launch pads, and interacting with the Chairman of ISRO. The feedback from students was very positive and encouraging.
