All the buildings/premises of DOS/ISRO HQ as well as various ISRO Centres/Units across the country were colourfully illuminated. The one year long celebration commenced with the Independence Day celebration on 15.08.2021 with full enthusiasm in DOS/ISRO HQ and all ISRO Centres/units and autonomous bodies.

At DOS/ISRO Headquarters, the celebration of Independence Day began with hoisting of National Flag by Dr. K. Sivan, Secretary DOS/Chairman ISRO. Dr. K. Sivan also addressed ISRO community during the event.

Employees of DOS/ISRO HQ sung specially-composed patriotic songs on this auspicious occasion, followed by plantation of sapling by Dr. Sivan, Secretary, DOS/Chairman ISRO.

Directors/Heads of DOS/ISRO Centres/Units also celebrated 75th Independence Day by Flag hoisting at respective campuses in a grand way. Relevant photos are enclosed.
