Cyclone AMPHAN – Satellite data for impact assessment

Super Cyclonic Storm, AMPHAN, made landfall near Digha in West Bengal, on 20-05-2020 evening, devastating several areas of West Bengal State, including Kolkata city. ISRO has programmed Indian and other satellites over the cyclone affected areas and acquired a set of images.

Following microwave images show the comparison between pre & post cyclone situation on the ground, in parts of Kolkata city, West Bengal.
