Dr. K Sivan, interacted with students from every nook and corner of the country during the first YUVIKA-Samwad-2019 , on May 17, 2019 at SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota.
This unique programme brought together 110 students by having a representation of three participants from each State and Union Territory.
Students asked questions pertaining to global space scenario and ISRO’s current as well as future space programs. Dr. K Sivan explained all these aspects in very simple language.
Dr. Sivan advised students that, “If you have the ability to ask meaningful questions as well as to ability to provide logical solutions then all of you can become successful scientists and engineers.”
The students also had an opportunity of witnessing the launch of a sounding rocket to get the feel of spaceport operations.
