YUva VIjyani KArayakram (YUVIKA) programme was conceived to impart basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to young students. The Hon’ble Prime Minister, during his visit to Oman on 18th December, 2025, announced the organization of the YUVIKA programme for Omani students. Accordingly, ISRO planned one week residential programme at SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota and processed the same through MEA. In follow up the Ministry of Education, Sultanate of Oman, has nominated eight students and two observers from Omani schools to participate in the programme.

The programme was inaugurated on 13^th July, 2026 by Shri S Muthuchezian, Director, SDSC SHAR. The programme includes classroom training, practical demonstrations of experiments, hands-on experience with robotic kits, model rocketry, field visits and Interaction with ISRO scientists.
