Ambassador of Russian Federation to India H.E. Denis Alipov, visited Antariksh Bhavan today (February 11, 2025) and met with the Chairman, ISRO/Secretary, DOS, Dr. V. Narayanan.

While welcoming the Ambassador, Chairman, ISRO/Secretary, DOS highlighted the strong bilateral space cooperation right from the initial days of Indian space programme to the current cooperation mainly in India’s Human Space flight programme, Gaganyaan.

While appreciating India’s recent achievements in space, Ambassador emphasised the need for enhancing Russia’s engagement with various stakeholders of Indian space ecosystem. Role of Technology Protection Agreement in enabling discussion on launch vehicle engine development, enhanced engagement under BRICS space cooperation and on-going discussions at agency-level; industry-level and academic institute-level were discussed.

Ambassador assured continued support in further strengthening the space cooperation across various stakeholders.
