The 6th edition of the RISE (Research, Industry, Start-up and Entrepreneurship) Conclave 2026 was organized by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) in Bengaluru under the theme "Innovation and Entrepreneurship-Driven Growth for Viksit Bharat 2047" ISRO participated in the conclave and established space exhibition. The conclave brought together researchers, industry leaders, startups, entrepreneurs, policymakers and academicians to foster collaboration and promote technology-driven growth.
The Conclave was inaugurated by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon'ble Union Minister of State (IC) for S & T and Earth Sciences, and MoS for Atomic Energy and Space. In his inaugural address, he highlighted the importance of innovation, entrepreneurship and industry-academia partnerships in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
A keynote address was delivered by Dr. V. Narayanan, Secretary, DoS and Chairman, ISRO in the presence of Secretary, DSIR and Director General, CSIR. He emphasized the role of scientific research, technological innovation and collaborative ecosystems in nation-building and highlighted recent milestones achieved by the Indian space programme.
As part of the exhibition, ISRO established a dedicated stall showcasing scaled models of launch vehicles and satellites, including models of Chandrayaan-4, Chandrayaan-3 and NISAR. The exhibition provided visitors with an opportunity to gain insights into India's space achievements, ongoing programmes and future missions. The ISRO stall attracted significant interest from researchers, industry professionals and start-ups attending the conclave.
