The XPoSat Mission marks a major milestone in India’s space science programme for the X-ray studies of astronomical sources. Scientific data from the mission have been released in public domain for global scientific utilization and important scientific results have been published in international peer reviewed journals. To further maximize the scientific return from this mission, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released the second Announcement of Opportunity (AO) inviting proposals from the Indian astronomical community for XPoSat observation time. The below document outlines the eligibility criteria, proposal submission process, and observation schedule for proposal submission. Researchers are encouraged to go through the complete AO details and submit high-quality proposals that advance our understanding of astronomical sources.
