ISRO has organized a two-day webinar on “Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) in India – Prospects of NavIC” on 21st and 22nd April 2021.
Shri. Umamaheswaran R, Scientific Secretary ISRO inaugurated the webinar and provided the opening remarks. Shri. Nilesh Desai, Director SAC provided the introductory remarks.
The webinar is being attended by eminent national experts in the field of geodesy, geodynamic studies, atmospheric sciences, and aerial surveying. The webinar is also being attended by the prominent Indian and global industries in the field of high precision GNSS.
The deliberations and discussions in webinar are aimed at formulating a comprehensive frame-work for NavIC-based CORS implementation in India, in line with the Government of India’s “आत्मनिर्भर भारत” initiative.
