Capacity Building Commission (CBC) headed by Dr. Adil Zainulbhai visited ISRO Head Quarters on April 28, 2022, to discuss the Capacity Building Initiatives within the Department of Space. Secretary, DOS chaired the session and interacted with officials. CBC has made a presentation highlighting the importance of training, promoting citizen-centric programmes, and preparing sectoral road maps for identifying new technologies.

STI-CB cell of PSA office and CBC will interact with ISRO officials for preparing ISRO’s Annual Capacity Building Plan (ACBP). Secretary, DOS assured CBC that ISRO will take lead in conceiving some of the training modules like project management, space applications, etc., which will be useful for all S&T Departments. Additional Secretary DOS, Joint Secretary (EP&L) DOS, Director CBPO, and Dr. Arabinda Mitra, STI-CB cell participated in the meeting.
