H.E. Dr. Hugo Javier Gobbi, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to India called on Shri Somanath S. Chairman, ISRO/ Secretary, Department of Space at ISRO Headquarters on February 22, 2023.

The ongoing interactions between ISRO and Argentine Space Agency (CONAE) and potential opportunities for expanding space relations between India and Argentina (in view of space reforms announced by Government of India) were discussed during this meeting.

Chairman, ISRO/ Secretary, Department of Space extended invitation to Argentine Ambassador to participate in the G20 Space Leaders Economy Meeting (SELM) Precursor event at Shillong in April 2023. Argentine Ambassador expressed interest of Argentine Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation to visit ISRO in July 2023.
